Aam Aadmi Party workers on Saturday held protests outside the residence of MP and cricketer Harbhajan Singh and the campus of Lovely Professional University run by MP Ashok Mittal.The two leaders had quit AAP along with five other MPs to join the BJP on Friday.Outside Bhajji’s house in the Chhoti Baradari locality of Jalandhar, AAP workers were led by Mayor Vaneet Dhir and Jalandhar Central halqa incharge Nitin Kohli. They raised slogans against the duo. The workers carried with them placards terming both leaders as traitors. They also scribbled the word ‘gaddar’ outside his residence.Outside Bhajji’s house, they shouted “Bhajji BJP ch bhaj gya”. “Those who have stabbed the party in the back must have some shame,” they shouted. They termed the rebel leaders as ‘saleable’.Heavy police deployment was seen outside both the venues as the protestors kept raising their voice. “Jalandharites had always been proud of Bhajji because of his sports. The AAP gave him his due respect but he ditched the party,” they said.
