Actress and entrepreneur Parul Gulati has accused two former employees of her hair-care brand Nish Hair of financial fraud at its Bengaluru outlet. In an Instagram video, she said she spent an entire day at a police station after uncovering that the store’s manager and a sales executive had been routing customer payments into their own bank accounts rather than the company’s.Gulati claimed the pair sold products worth Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 daily but told buyers to pay into personal accounts. “They sold my product, my packaging, through my name to the customer and then took the whole amount themselves. Toh unhone mujhse bhi churaya hai, aur customers se bhi,” she said.She said she had suspected irregularities for a while but couldn’t identify the cause until a surprise visit to the outlet. The sales executive, who had access to the store’s CCTV footage, called in sick that day, while the manager showed up. Under questioning, the manager reportedly confessed to starting the fraud roughly a month after joining, having spent that time learning how the business ran, and admitted to misappropriating close to Rs 8 lakh. Gulati said the sales executive remains untraced.She estimated the scam had gone on for about six months, causing inventory gaps and accounting mismatches, though she said her proof covers only that period. She has asked that the accused never be hired elsewhere.Gulati also warned Bengaluru customers who may have paid the employees directly instead of the company account, urging them to always insist on a bill and confirm payment details before buying. Calling out the accused, she said, “Yeh chor hain, yeh jahan jaayenge wahan chori karenge. Inme koi imaan nahi hai. Yeh ghatiya log hain, ghatiya.”She admitted she may never recover the money but hopes the two are held responsible.
