The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the much-anticipated Class X results. Amritsar’s Mudit Jain, a student of Shri Ram Ashram Public School, has made history by scoring 100 per cent with a perfect 500/500. Mudit not only became the district topper with his perfect score but also emerged as the national topper in the board exams.Mudit’s mother, Parul Jain, is an English teacher at Shri Ram Ashram Public School, and his father has a private job. His teachers say that he is an all-rounder and also participates in Olympiads and Model United Nations (MUNs).Closely following Mudit, were two students, Gurmehar Kaur Dhillon and Tamnay Aggarwal, who scored 99.8 per cent. Gurmehar is a student of Springdale Public School and Tanmay is a student of Luvdale Senior School. Arshveer Bhatia from DAV International School ranked third in district with 99.4 per cent along with Aashima Sukhija and Vridhita Aggarwal from Springdale School, who also scored 99.4 per cent.Other meritorious students include Guneet Kaur and Lubhani Sharma from Springdale with 99.2 per cent and Khanak Mahajan from The Senior Study II with 99 per cent score.CBSE released the gender-wise pass percentage, and this year, girls outperformed boys with a 94.99 per cent pass rate, while 92.69 per cent of boys passed.The results have been made available on official CBSE websites, as well as the Umang and DigiLocker mobile apps.
