He said their performance was not an isolated achievement but evidence of a structural improvement in Punjab’s education system. He said government schools had long suffered due to weak infrastructure, outdated systems and a lack of opportunities, but sustained reforms had changed the perception of public education. “These students have not only succeeded academically but have become role models for others,” he said.Paying tribute to teachers, the Chief Minister said they were the true nation builders and that no educational transformation was possible without their dedication. He said the appointment of campus managers had reduced administrative burdens, allowing teachers to focus on teaching.Mann said parent-teacher meetings had strengthened cooperation between schools and families, while students from economically weaker backgrounds were now receiving facilities comparable to private institutions. He said the government was working to bridge the gap between privileged and under-resourced schools, asserting that quality education was a right, not a privilege.Highlighting reforms, he said teachers were being sent to countries such as Finland and Singapore for specialised training to adopt world-class teaching practices. He urged students to aim high, step out of their comfort zones and not fear humble beginnings. Appealing to parents, he said children should be allowed to choose careers according to their own interests and abilities.
