Limon’s body was found in a trash bag on the Howard Frankland Bridge a week later on April 24, leading to the arrest of his roommate Hisham Abugharbieh, 26, who has been charged in the couple’s deaths.

Now, investigators have confirmed that they have located and identified Bristy’s body, which was found in a trash bag on the shoreline near to where Limon’s remains were recovered.

Investigators confirmed on Friday that the second bag of remains found by a fisherman last weekend, two days after Limon was discovered, belong to Bristy.

“We have located Nahida Bristy. We have contacted her family. We are now actively working to release both bodies for religious reasons back to the families who live in Bangladesh,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said at a news conference.

Bristy’s identity was confirmed via DNA, dental work, and pieces of clothing.

An arrest affidavit revealed that the second set of remains were in an “advanced stage of decomposition.”

Sheriff Chad Chronister revealed the gruesome details given by the fisherman who made the discovery.

A man was kayaking and fishing with a friend when one of their lines snagged on a bag in the water and they smelled something “indescribable,” the Sheriff said at the conference.

“He has to go further into the mangroves. He smells something as he describes as indescribable, and when he went and got closer to removing his fishing line, he sees that a plastic bag has been opened, there’s been saltwater in there, he can’t tell what it is, but it looks like a human body.”

The kayakers immediately contacted police and work began on identifying the remains.

Abugharbieh, a former USF student, faces first-degree murder charges as investigators “anxiously search” for a motive in the killings.

The suspected killer who remains in custody until trial due to the “brutal and violent nature” of his alleged crimes, has been described as “pure evil” by the Sheriff.

“The details of this investigation are gruesome, and the actions of the suspect are nothing short of pure evil,” he said.
