Bonnie died unexpectedly in hospital in Portugal on July 8, aged 75, following an illness for which she had been receiving treatment.
The singer, who lived in Portugal with her husband Robert Sullivan, had undergone emergency gastrointestinal surgery in May after suffering a burst appendix and perforated intestine. She was subsequently placed in an induced coma.
Bonnie’s final public performance was at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire in March.
In her last interview with Lorraine on ITV she spoke of her excitement at upcoming tours across the UK, including gigs in Manchester, London and Cardiff.
When asked if she was ever going to “slow down”, Bonnie replied: “I often say next year I’ll slow down… but I love what I do.”
The Welsh singer became a global superstar in the 1980s when Total Eclipse Of The Heart stormed to No1 on both sides of the Atlantic.
The track helped propel her album Faster Than The Speed Of Night to the top of the UK charts giving Bonnie her only UK No1 album.
