A three-year-old boy thrown into a crocodile pit at a zoo is now in a stable condition in hospital.
The youngster suffered serious injuries after being hurled into the reptile pen at Johnson’s of Old Hurst, near Huntingdon, Cambs, on Thursday.

He was rescued by heroic zoo staff after being bitten by a crocodile and remains at Addenbrooke’s Hospital where doctors continue to monitor his condition.
A 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police said the suspect, who has severe learning difficulties and is not known to the child, was deemed unfit for interview.
Detectives from the Major Crime Unit are understood to be studying CCTV footage as they piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Sources said the carers who accompanied the suspect to the zoo have not yet been formally questioned.
The suspect has been bailed until September 18.
The exotic zoo had previously featured in an ITV documentary.
Andrew, the farmer who owns the zoo, was featured on ITV documentary Britain’s Tiger Kings, presented by Ross Kemp.
In the series, he told Kemp he is passionate about crocodiles and alligators, and wants to be fed to them when he dies.
In the two-part series, former EastEnders star Kemp “goes on the trail of Britain’s very own tiger and lion kings – those who keep dangerous wild animals”.
The 2021 show followed Andy’s work at the reptile house on the farm – including his collection of 15 crocs and alligators.
