A BRIDGERTON star has dropped a huge hint that she’s being lined up as Bond girl for the next 007 movie.
The actress, 31, plays Kate Bridgerton in the Netflix hit opposite Jonathan Bailey’s Anthony Bridgerton.

Speaking to ELLE UK, Simone Ashley revealed whether she’d take the call to play a Bond girl.
She said: “I would, yeah. If it happens, it happens! I’m not going to talk about it.

“I definitely want to do more movies and find a really delicious TV show to get into.
“I’d love to do an action movie. Something fantasy, maybe.”

However, Simone’s loyalty lies with Bridgerton and she explained that she’d never leave the show.
She said: “It changed my life and, without it, I wouldn’t be where I am.
“That show reached near and far. Even in the places you don’t think you’ll get recognised, you do.
“Whenever it finishes, it’s going to be the end of an era.
“I think they have about four or five more siblings to get through. I’m in it till the end!”
Simone is to recieve the Performer award at the Elle Style awards 2026 and graces the cover of their October magazine.
She joined the cast of Bridgerton back in 2022 for its second season.
But the Netflix show isn’t the only TV show that she has been in over the years.
She played Olivia Hanan in Sex Education between 2019 and 2021.
Speaking about filming Molly Gordon’s upcoming comedy Peaked with Dua Lipa she said: “That was one of the best experiences ever – like Sex Education, but on another level.
“Dua’s such a pro – she worked so hard, and just took it in and had so much fun with us all.
“We were all so excited to have her there. Connor’s an amazing person, very kind and professional.”
Meanwhile, James Bond could see it’s first ever husband and wife casting as Saoirse Ronan pitches for a villain role – and Jack Lowden is up for 007.
The actress, 32, who tied the knot with Jack in 2024, has teased that she could be in the upcoming blockbuster Bond 26.
Lady Bird star Saoirse recently told Empire magazine: “I want to go dark. I said that I wanted to be a Bond villain, and I’m dead serious.
“I think it would be really interesting, having a young, female villain.”
