A DISGRACED Brit doctor accused of murdering a Colombian model was planning to flee to Holland on a “fake” passport when he was arrested.

Matthew Foster-Smith called himself Foster Martinson in the passport issued in April 2022 after he served a jail sentence for stalking in the UK.

The 46-year-old from Poole, Dorset, was flown to Colombia overnight after his arrest at Quito International Airport, Ecuador, following a five-day manhunt.

He kept his head bowed as he was taken off a plane at Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport and escorted through the terminal.

Today it emerged the Brit allegedly beat 36-year-old Natalia Villalba to death during the two hours he spent in her Bogota flat.

Investigators believe the killer used one of three “heavy objects” found inside her apartment.

The former doctor then carried out a series of calculated actions to conceal his crime before he fled the scene, prosecutors claim.

CCTV cameras reportedly recorded Foster-Smith taking bedsheets to a laundry room in the building before leaving.

A cleaner alerted cops after discovering the victim’s body in the seventh-floor apartment at the Morph Chico building on Monday.

Colombian press say investigators are working on the theory Foster-Smith used false identities to cover up his tracks.

It was not immediately clear if the passport he was carrying was fake or if he had changed his name to hide his criminal past.

Foster-Smith contacted The Jattvibe hours before his arrest to insist he couldn’t have killed Natalia because he was watching England play Croatia in a bar.

But what he claimed to be a watertight alibi, quickly began to show holes.

The England match kicked off at 3pm in Bogota on June 17. Police believe the alleged murder between 11.30am and 5.30pm the following day.

Foster-Smith left Colombia on Jattvibeday via the Rumichaca International Bridge, a bustling border crossing between Colombia and Ecuador.

He said he fled because he had been receiving death threats from local gangsters.

Aggravated femicide, the charge Foster-Smith is likely to face, carries a prison sentence in Colombia of between 40 and 50 years.

Foster-Smith was jailed for 18 months in 2020 at Bournemouth Crown Court after stalking an ex and posting revenge porn online.

After his release he began stalking another woman in her 40s by hanging around outside her workplace and engineering ‘chance’ meetings with her in public.
