BRITISH rock legend Joe Murphy has died aged 46 – as devastated fans pay tributes to the noughties star.
Bassist Joe helped pop-punk band Koopa make history as the first group to reach the UK Top 40 solely through digital sales.

Joe’s devastated sister confirmed news of his passing on social media, releasing a touching tribute to her brother.
She wrote: “For those who knew him, it breaks my heart to say that my big brother, Joe Murphy has passed away. Love you big bro.”
Joe, who grew up in Colchester, Essex, was hailed as a “legend” by local band The Broken Johnny’s.
The band said: “Absolutely gutted to hear of the passing of local legend Joe Murphy from the band Koopa.
“Grew up with these guys and saw them supporting Special Duties at Colchester Arts Centre before they went off to America.
“May Joe Rest In Peace now.”
