Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 50, announced the winner at the final held at London’s Eventim Apollo.

The Jeremy Clarkson backed group narrowly beat drone art act Celestial to win.

The winners said: “We are the first ever choir to have won Britain’s Got Talent. This is for all the farmers out there. For anyone whose struggling it’s not a taboo subject, speak up!”

Ten acts made it through to the ITV live final and performed in front of judges Simon Cowell, 66, Amanda Holden, 55, Alesha Dixon, 47, and KSI, 32.

Meanwhile girl band Mis-Teeq – starring Alesha – did a surprise performance on the night after announcing their 25th- anniversary show this month.

The band, which also includes singers Su-Elise Nash and Sabrina Washington, will perform at Wembley OVO Arena in London in September.

Five acts secured a place in the final after getting a golden buzzer from the judges.

The remaining five acts won their semi-final show after receiving the most votes from the public.

Poet Sonny Green, 31, from Essex, was the favourite to win, according to bookmaker Paddy Power.

Meanwhile The Hawkstone Farmers Choir were also a strong contender.

The 32-strong choir were founded by Jeremy Clarkson in 2024 for an advertising campaign to promote his Hawkstone beer and cider brand.

Other performers during the night included singer Matty Juniosa, dog act Anastasiia and Salsa, as well as dance group Sadeck Berrabah and LMA.

Magicians Fabian Fox and Rafferty Coope, comedian Ted Hill, fire juggler Liwei Yang and drone art act Celestial also showcased their talent during the show.
