It concerned Fakir Testa, 45, whose performance left those watching at home feeling “sick”.

His concerning display involved a variety of stunts using extremely sharp machetes.

The first part of his act saw him use a series of machetes as steps on a ladder as he walked up on them barefoot.

Members of the audience could be seen whimpering and pulling shocked and disgusted faces.

The judges were also left unable to watch and Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon were quick to press their buzzers over the concerning knife displays.

Fakir then performed an even more shocking act where he hung down and kept his body weight lifted only by pressing his neck onto the machete.

The rest of his body became suspended in the air as he risked the machete going through his neck.

Warnings of ‘do not try this at home’ repeatedly flashed on the screens.

A final stunt saw Fakir pull a huge car with Simon Cowell inside using only his neck with a machete strapped around it.

Ofcom have now confirmed they have received a number of reports relating to the act being broadcast on Saturday’s show.

It received 151 complaints in total.

An Ofcom spokesperson said of the 151 complaints: “The majority of complaints related to Fakir Testa’s audition. Some people also complained about Mr Cherry’s audition.”

At the time of its airing, fans raced to X to complain about the scenes being broadcast and share their thoughts.

One wrote: “F***s sake. This is on pre watershed. Do better #itv.”

Another added: “This is NOT talent! This is f***** lunacy.”

Someone else wrote they felt “sick” having seen the stunts with another penning: “I can’t watch! Why are they showing this for family entertainment #BGT ?!!?”
