The Holland & Barrett branch on Sheerness High Street in Kent will officially close its doors for the final time today, on May 6.
The closure comes despite Holland & Barrett announcing a huge £70million investment programme to revamp its business across the UK.
The retailer said the cash injection would help transform stores and improve hundreds of locations nationwide.
But the Sheerness branch has still been earmarked for closure as part of the company’s wider plans.

Five staff members were working at the Kent store and have been offered support.
A Holland & Barrett spokesperson said: “We are committed to relocating store colleagues during closures where possible and support them through the process.”
They added: “In the meantime, the store is open as usual, bringing expert-led advice alongside our range of science-backed products and services to our customers.”
The health chain was founded in 1870 by Alfred Slapps Barrett and Major William Holland before growing into a major high street name.
Today, Holland & Barrett operates around 1,600 stores across 19 countries and remains one of Britain’s best-known wellness retailers.
The company recently confirmed plans to invest £70million into opening and refurbishing more than 200 stores across the UK.
