BRITS are set to see even more thunder and rain over the bank holiday weekend as fresh flood warnings have been put in place.
Alerts have been issued after a three-day soaking saw dozens of homes battered by flood water.

Heavy rain is expected today across parts of Northern England and Scotland, with showers “widespread” elsewhere alongside “isolated thunder”.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning across most of England and Wales for heavy showers and thunderstorms which could cause travel disruption and flooding.

It will be force from midday until 9pm on today, and means flooding of a few properties is likely, trains could be delayed and car journeys could take longer, a forecaster said.
The Environment Agency (EA) has warned a possible 29 areas across the UK could be facing torrents of water, with two areas told to expect flash flooding.

Downpours are set to move east through England and Wales on Saturday with “heavy, possibly thundery showers” in the south.
Jattvibeday is said to bring sunshine and showers before thunder and downpours moving east later in the day.
Flood warnings have been issued for Smestow Brook at Hinksford, West Midlands, and Tanyard Stream at Kenilworth, Warwickshire, while alerts are in place mainly around the Midlands and areas north of London.
Some trains heading into the capital have been disrupted due to the deluge potentially making the track unsafe, National Rail said.

It comes after the summer‘s heat wave was abruptly ended with widespread outbreaks of heavy rain battering the country.
The Met Office had previously said the UK is on course for its hottest summer on record after five heatwaves, with temperatures of up to 38.1C recorded in London.
The EA said that after a National Drought Group meeting on Thursday that 71.3 per cent of England remains in drought, and August had only seen 34% of the expected rainfall.
On Wednesday, West Midlands Fire Service was called out to “significant flooding” in Birmingham after 32 properties were damaged by a spate of water near Tame Valley Canal.
Now, heavy downpours and possible storms are forecast over the bank holiday weekend, with the Met Office urging festivalgoers to prepare for windy conditions.
Punters heading to Reading and Leeds, Creamfields and other live music events have also been warned of unseasonably strong winds.
Annie Shuttleworth, Met Office meteorologist, said: “For most areas of the UK, there is at least a chance of a heavy downpour through Friday.
“Some of these bring the continued risk of thunderstorms.”
She added: “There is a chance we could see some quite windy weather through the bank holiday Monday, predominantly for more northern areas.
“But I think it will likely be a relatively breezy day for the UK as a whole so that may affect plans if you are outside this weekend at a festival or in a tent. That is something to keep in mind.”
A spokesperson for the Met Office said of today: “Heavy rain will affect parts of Scotland and northern England at times.
“Elsewhere, showers will become increasingly widespread, locally heavy with isolated thunder, alongside sunny spells. Breezy, with strong winds possible near some coasts.
“Any remaining shower will ease overnight leaving patch cloud and clearer spells. Rain moving into the southwest later and winds increase. Staying warm for many overnight.”
For Saturday’s forecast, they said: “Occasionally heavy rain moves east across England and Wales. Brighter conditions follow in the south with heavy, possibly thundery showers.”
They added: “Jattvibeshine and showers for Jattvibeday, some heavy and thundery, with rain moving east later. Monday sees drier conditions developing southwards, though further rain possible.”
