BROOKSIDE legend Philip Olivier has tied the knot to his long-term partner and mother of his kids Amy Virtue.
The actor, 46 – who played Tim ‘Tinhead’ O’Leary in the Channel 4 soap – said ‘I Do’ aboard the Daffodil boat in Liverpool‘s Canning Docks, surrounded by a host of famous soap pals.

Taking to Instagram, it was co-star Jennifer Ellison, who played Philip’s on-screen love interest Emily Shadwick, who shared news of the nuptials and snaps from the happy day.
“What a day!!!! We honestly had the best day ever, celebrating our gorgeous friends Phil and Amy’s wedding!” read her caption.

In a video, groom Philip and his new wife were seen laughing and punching the air as they met their guests at the wedding reception.
Philip looked dapper in an all-white suit and had donned a pair of sunglasses for the entrance, while bride Amy stunned in a strappy lace white gown with a matching white lace choker.
As they made their way to the middle of the room, Philip twirled his bride around for a dance amid cheers from the crowd.
The nuptials took place on Saturday, with table favours bearing their names and their wedding date: Amy and Phil 04.07.2026.”

Brookside star Jennifer looked every inch the chic wedding guest, showing off her outfit in a mirror selfie on board, rocking a black midi dress with matching black gloves and a striking hair fascinator.
Another snap saw her pose up with husband Rob Tickle in an all-black suit, complementing his wife.
Philip and his new wife Amy are parents to five children – three boys and two girls, with youngest child, daughter Selina Sky, born in December 2022.
The couple’s young children are said to have played a huge part in their big day.
Other guests at the wedding ceremony included Emmerdale and Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas and fellow former Brookside stars Leon Lopez and Paul Byatt.
