Hours after gangster Goldy Brar allegedly claimed to have had Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar killed, Canada-based designated terrorist Arshdeep Singh Gill, alias Arsh Dalla, threatened to take revenge.In a 15-minute-long video shared on separate Punjabi social media platforms, Dalla allegedly claimed that gangster patronage was being offered to Punjabi singers, who were performing free shows for Goldy Brar, with gangsters taking away all the profits.The Tribune does not endorse the veracity of the audio.Dalla said he was not with Hardeep Singh Nijjar on the day he was killed. Goldy Brar had levelled allegations against Dalla that the latter implicated Brar’s parents in a false case.Dalla rather accused Goldy Brar of operating for agencies and said the cases against his parents were part of a plan hatched by Brar himself.He questioned why no case was registered against his parents when Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewala was killed on May 29, 2022.Dalla claimed that he was not a traitor to the community and that for each killing — committed or planned by him — his father was interrogated, but he never bowed down to pressure and handed over the killers to the police.Dalla confirmed his link to the November 2020 murder of Manohar Lal, a Dera Sacha Sauda follower in Bathinda. Lal was the father of an individual accused in a 2020 sacrilege incident, and Dalla’s network claimed responsibility for the killing as “revenge” for past sacrilege cases.Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar has allegedly admitted in a leaked audio clip to killing Hardeep Singh Nijjar.Brar, wanted in India and also on the US most-wanted list for several murders — including that of singer-songwriter Sidhu Moosewala — was heard in the purported clip stating that he had Nijjar killed because of the latter’s involvement in the promotion of drug abuse.He claimed Nijjar had provided shelter to Dalla, a rival gang leader, and offered weapons and monetary help.Goldy Brar made the claim during a conversation with Khalistani terrorist Paramjit Singh Pamma.“Those who groomed and incited 16-to-17-year-olds to sell drugs. Those who blackmailed young people into selling drugs and becoming informants. Nijjar supported and strengthened these individuals so that he could use them when necessary,” Brar allegedly told Pamma in the purported clip.
