The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for Class XII students to apply for verification of marks and re-evaluation of questions following the declaration of board examination results.In a post on X, the board announced the extension to provide students with additional time to complete the process and ensure that eligible candidates are not inconvenienced.CBSE said, “In the interest of students, CBSE has decided to extend the last date for submission of applications for Verification and Re-evaluation of Question(s) for the Class XII Board Examinations, thereby providing students additional time and support to complete the process.”According to the revised schedule, the last date for submitting applications has been extended by one day.Previous Last Date: 06.06.2026 (Midnight)Extended Last Date: 07.06.2026 (Midnight)The board has advised students who wish to seek verification of marks or re-evaluation of questions to complete the application process within the extended timeline.CBSE further stated, “Students are requested to take note of the revised schedule and submit their applications accordingly.”The extension comes as a relief for students who were unable to complete their applications before the earlier deadline and ensures they have additional time to review their results and avail themselves of the post result grievance redressal mechanism.
