Apple and kiwi products distributed by Prepworld have been recalled after several fruit packs showed possible contamination with Salmonella.

13 products sold across Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Waitrose, Morrisons and ASDA have all been recalled.

If the products have been bought, customers have been instructed not to eat them.

Instead, the product should be returned to the store it was purchased at where a full refund will be given.

In response to the recall, Prepworld, the fruit supplier, is recalling all of the included products.

Point of sales notices will be on display in all affected stores notifying customers of the recall.

A recall from Tesco advises any shoppers who have bought the recalled fruit to not eat the product and instead return it to any Tesco store where a full refund will then be issued.

Asda urged customers to return any of the affected produce to their nearest store, where a full refund will be given, even if you don’t have a receipt.

Morrisons, Sainsburys and M&S all issued similar point of sales notices, asking customers to return the fruit to their nearest stores for a full refund.
