A film featuring a clip of the “football’s coming home” anthem Three Lions will be broadcast around Bath and at a rugby match tomorrow.
Crimestoppers has also put up a £20,000 reward.
Melanie’s dad, Steve, and her sister, Dom, have recorded an interview marking 30 years since they last saw her.

Steve, now 82, said: “You always think in the early days there will be a quick resolution for what has happened — but that’s not been the case.
“I hope I live long enough to see a conclusion.”
Dom added: “Melanie was a very gentle person.
“I’m appealing to a female member of the community who’s got a doubt about a son, husband, or brother.
“I hope we get justice for Melanie while we’re still able to.”
