He swiftly deletes the footage, looking sheepish while doing so, and viewers watch as the footage gets completely wiped from his laptop before the episode draws to a close.
Coronation Street viewers have been tuning into the long-running soap to see the investigation unfold and will ultimately find out this summer just who killed the villain.
So far, George has been brought in for questioning with DS Lisa Connor-Swain, but he has insisted that he has no part in the murder.
Corrie viewers will have also seen Christina asked to go in to the station during the episode, to assist the police with their enquiries, putting a big question mark above her head.
It comes after disappointed soap fans took to Reddit recently, to discuss the whodunnit, and one wrote: “If Danielle did it, it’ll be the biggest cop out of an already drawn out murder mystery. Her episode count is 17 according to IMBD.
“I am getting who killed Frank Foster! This will shock you!! vibes from 2012.
“The suspects were Carla, Sally, Kevin, Michelle, Peter… and his Mum, who came in to it a week or so before. Guess who did it?”
Another fan wrote: “I was thinking the exact same thing when his ex-wife and son started appearing again.
“I wouldn’t have even thought her ep count was as high as 17.”
Another agreed writing: “Said the same.”
A fourth said: “I think Summer knows who did it, or she’s the one that thwacked him one before fleeing and then someone else turned up to finish him off“Given how quick she was to come lay flowers, I think it’ll end up being his ex wife (Danielle).”
A fifth wrote: “So going to be Danielle that did it, she randomly popped up to deliver flowers, I don’t think they’ll want to lose any of the other cast.”
While another said: “It won’t be any of them. It will be his son. Although, I think he told Danielle immediately and she is helping him cover it up.”
