CORONATION Street star Mollie Gallagher has confirmed she has quit the ITV soap after nearly seven years.
The actress is known for portraying Nina Lucas on the cobbles, but has already filmed the character’s exit.

According to Digital Spy, Mollie has already filmed her final scenes on the cobbles and is set to depart from screen in August.
A spokesperson for Coronation Street told the publication: “Mollie has created a unique and well loved character in Nina over the past six and a half years and everyone will be sorry to see her go.
Mollie won’t be enjoying a quieter pace of life for long, as she has already secured her next role.
The star is swapping the screen for the stage as she will be making her stage debut as Clarice Starling in the UK and Ireland tour of Silence of the Lambs.
