Beverley said: “The oesophagus is completely clear, but apparently my upper stomach is really, badly inflamed.

“They’ve taken several biopsies to find out what that is and they said often it can take 12-13 weeks, but then they said to me they’ll get the results to my surgeon and oncologist in about a week, so I’ll know more then.

“Obviously it’s not great news, but at least I know now I’m not just a wuss, because the nausea is driving me mad, but apparently this is what’s causing it.”

With a chuckle she said: “So there is a reason for it, I’m not just pathetic, if you know what I mean.”

Beverley concluded saying: “So I’m OK, I’m a bit fed up about it, I just want to crack on with real life again if you like, but we’ll know more soon, so I’ll let you know how I feel tomorrow.”
