The actor, 48, is gearing up for the release of the second series of Rivals, which premieres on Disney+ this Friday and it looks viewers will be seeing plenty more of Danny this time round.

He told Radio Times: “I go full frontal in this series, if they keep it in the edit.

“It’s a night shoot, and it was cold, and I’d better not say any more.

“Nobody’s under pressure to be naked if they don’t want to, but if a woman’s getting her breasts out, why shouldn’t I get it all out?

“I’ve got breasts as well, to be fair,” the former EastEnders star joked.

Danny plays the role of Freddie Jones on the show, a self-made electronics mogul and the “moral beacon” of Rutshire.

His revelation comes after he previously said he’s banned his daughter Dani from watching the show because of the racy sex scenes.

The father and daughter duo appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show back in February and he teased what’s coming up on the new series.

He turned to Dani and said: “I don’t think you’ll be able to watch much of it!”

She responded: “There was a scene on the last series… The love-making, I don’t watch. The last one there wasn’t that much.”

Hinting that she’ll be needing to cover her eyes much more often, Danny continued: “I got away with it last time. I don’t get away with it this time.”

This prompted Jonathan to quiz Dani on what it’s like having a father who is referred to as a sex symbol.

She replied: “I remember when I first started school, everyone used to say it to me.

“I didn’t really know how to respond to it.”

The show featured a number of racy moments during the first season, including Emily Atack’s character playing a game of “naked tennis” in hilarious scenes.

As well as Danny and Emily, the hit series also stars David Tennant, Aidan Turner, Katherine Parkinson and Alex Hassell.

It’s been reported that the cast are raking in £1.5million each for the new set of episodes.

A source told The Jattvibe of the cast’s large payouts: “Even though Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham are the arch-enemies at the drama’s centre, Rivals’ success is very much considered down to its ensemble cast.

“It means actors like Emily, Katherine and Danny who are in more of a supporting role still command those big fees.

“Disney recognises the star power they have on Rivals and pays accordingly.”

The first three episodes of Rivals series 2 will be available to stream this Friday, May 15 on Disney+
