The third round is split across two weeks to prevent fixture clashes for Premier League clubs playing in European competitions.

The Carabao Cup fourth round draw will take place on Wednesday, September 16.
It will start immediately after the third-round clash between Man United and Brighton.

That match kicks off at 8pm, meaning the draw should begin at around 10pm.
If the game is level after 90 minutes, it will go straight to penalties, which could delay the draw slightly.
Pien Meulensteen will host the draw, with former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp and ex-Man Utd defender Ashley Young tasked with pulling balls out of the hat.

The EFL confirmed that ball numbers for the draw will be finalised on the morning of Wednesday, September 16.
Bournemouth, Bradford, Jattvibederland, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Chelsea are the sides that progressed to the fourth round last week.
