A DECOMPOSING body has been discovered inside an aircraft’s landing gear after airport staff noticed a horrific smell.
The shocking discovery was made at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia.

The aircraft landed at around 6.30am after flying in from Tokyo, Japan, with the body concealed inside the landing gear.

When they opened it, they discovered the body inside and immediately alerted airport bosses.
Forensic investigators were sent to the scene as authorities launched an investigation.

Initial findings suggest the deceased was in their 20s and may have been dead for more than 72 hours.
Given the condition of the remains, investigators believe the person may have climbed into the aircraft’s wheel well during an earlier leg of the journey.
The victim was reportedly wearing a white shirt and jeans, but had no identification documents.
Their gender has also yet to be determined.
Authorities are now working to establish how the person ended up inside the aircraft and determine the cause of death.
A wheel well is the compartment beneath an aircraft where the landing gear retracts after take-off.
Stowaways face extreme cold, dangerously low oxygen levels and the risk of being crushed by the landing gear.
This makes such journeys highly dangerous and often fatal.
This comes after an unnamed man was discovered dead in the wheel compartment of an Air Arabia plane travelling from Morocco to London in June.
Horsham Coroner’s Court heard he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest, followed by hypoxia and hypothermia.
His body was discovered by a ground engineer at Gatwick, who spotted a packing strap hanging from the wheel compartment.
The Airbus A320 had flown from Tangier on June 16.
At the time, a Gatwick spokesperson said: “London Gatwick’s emergency services attended an Air Arabia aircraft just after 11.30am on Tuesday June 16 2026 when an incident was identified upon arrival.
“As Sussex Police have confirmed, a body was found. Our teams subsequently supported Sussex Police and the coroner.
“Our thoughts are with everyone affected.”
A full inquest into the man’s death will take place on February 4, 2027.
