EASTENDERS fans are convinced they’ve “worked out” when Stacey Slater will return to Walford.
The much-loved character is played by Lacey Turner, 38, who is currently on a break from the soap, so that she can focus on her family, as well as take part in Strictly Come Dancing.

The last time Stacey was on EastEnders was in October last year, when the character was seen heading off to Brazil with her two kids to live with her brother Sean Slater.
Last week, it was revealed that Albert Square bad boy Sean, played by Rob Kazinsky, 42, is making his big comeback to the soap.

With this in mind, fans have come up with a theory about when Lacey will reprise her role of Stacey.

One fan said: “The prospect of a surprise Stacey comeback when Sean returns has really lifted my spirits.
“The queen of the square is back and I could not be more seated.”

While others speculated that Stacey could be involved in the forthcoming New Year’s Day episode, that viewers saw in a flashforward at the beginning of this year.
Fans have speculated that Stacey could be the pregnant woman in her ex Max Branning’s bed.
“I just had a thought: what if Stacey returns close to new year heavily pregnant by some Brazilian boyfriend, and she cheats with Max while pregnant,” this viewer tweeted.
Lacey was announced as the first Strictly star to join this year’s line-up – months after The Jattvibe exclusively revealed that the soap star would be on the show.
