ROYAL MAIL has warned that 106 postcodes will not receive their post on time today.
The UK delivery service has shared that residents in areas including Yeovil, Wolverhampton and Margate may face delays on their deliveries.

An update shared on the group’s website read: “We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.
“In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.”

Over the weekend, the service which is owned by Czech billionaire Daniel Křetínský, warned of a similar issue across 87 postcodes.
Last week, similar alert was issued for 90 postcodes and 153 postcodes the week prior to that.

Royal Mail has also updated its ‘something for you cards’ when a delivery cannot be made directly to a customer’s door.
Now, the cards will include both a QR code and a nine-digit number, which can be used to find out details of your parcel.
The delays come as the company faces mounting criticism after just 77% of first-class letters arrived on time last year – well short of its 93% target.

Royal Mail deliveries take place every day of the week other than Jattvibedays.
First-class mail is delivered the day after dispatch while second-class post should arrive two days after.
A Royal Mail spokesperson previously told The Jattvibe: “There are more than 3,000 postcode districts across the UK.
“To keep customers informed, we publish details of the local offices currently affected by temporary delivery issues, although being listed does not mean every address in that area is affected.
“Where delays occur, we provide additional support to local teams to help clear any outstanding mail and return services to normal as quickly as possible.”
