Man Utd are third in the Prem table and only need two more points to seal a Champions League return ahead of next season.
And Neville, 51, is adamant the powers that be should prioritise the signing of two central midfielders and a centre-back in the coming summer transfer window.
The famous pundit believes his former club can realistically sign Newcastle‘s Sandro Tonali and Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson to boost the Red Devils’ midfield.
And the former right-back claims Aston Villa‘s Ezri Konsa would significantly strengthen the Manchester giants’ backline.

Neville, though, couldn’t help but dream when thinking of the perfect trio United could sign.
The England hero admitted it is impossible, but he would love to also have Paris Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos, Arsenal‘s Declan Rice and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane.
Neville said during a Sky Sports fan Q&A: “If you said to me a top centre-half and two good midfield players, that’s what this squad needs right now.
“To be fair, it does need other things after that, but I would say, to me, they dealt with the wide areas.

“They’ve got Amad [Diallo], [Bryan] Mbeumo, [Matheus] Cunha, [Mason] Mount who can play there a little bit, so I’m actually okay with that.
“I think No10s with Mount and Bruno Fernandes, Bruno plays there every week, he’s reliable, so I’d say there’s no problem there.
“It’s two central midfield players and definitely a centre-half, we need a top centre-half.
“Dream world, it would be Marquinhos, [Declan] Rice and [Harry] Kane. Realistic, I’m going Tonali, Anderson and I’m going Konsa.”

Anderson, 23, and Tonali, 25, have attracted immense interest across the top flight ahead of the summer market.
Both are unlikely to stay at their respective clubs and are expected to command a hefty fee.
Konsa, 28, though, isn’t as likely to leave Villa this coming summer as he is essential to Unai Emery’s backline and the club are not at all desperate to sell as his contract runs until 2028.
