A GLAMOROUS lawyer who reenacts crime cases on social media is being investigated after police began to suspect her links to the underworld may be more than just client relations.
Cops from Brazil believe Gabriela Vieira Serafin may have joined the ranks of the criminals she defends.

This could include passing on messages between inmates and gang members outside jail.
To test their theory, police raided the lawyer’s home in Florianopolis, southern Brazil.
Gabriela was not present, but her mother and two defence lawyers witnessed the dramatic 6am bust on May 12.
Investigators said they found two mobile phones, SIM cards, pen drives and memory cards hidden inside a child’s glove in Gabriela’s bedroom.
The seized material will be investigated to see if the lawyer has truly joined the dark side.
Gabriela’s stepfather Anderson de Souza Machado was also at the home and was temporarily arrested.
The lawyer has not officially been charged and the Santa Catarina Civil Police are not releasing what evidence they have against her.
Gabriela, known online as “Advogata” – a mix of the Portuguese words for “cat” and “lawyer” – posts first-person performances of drug busts, gang rivalries and home invasions.

Now, the lawyer has fallen prey to her very own police raid.
The videos are not believed to be illegal but police believe she may have become entangled with a criminal faction.
In one reel she acted out a woman caught weighing drugs inside her flat.
Gabriela said in the staged account: “I was inside a bedsit weighing drugs. The tactical police burst in. I think someone grassed me up.”

She then described alleged police violence that the client claimed had taken place during the arrest.
In another video, Gabriela described a case in which gangsters rented out a neighbouring flat to a rival so they could stalk his movements.
She said: “The guys were at war, but it was hard to catch their enemy out on the street. So what did they do?
“They rented an apartment in the same condominium as their enemy. Almost door to door. They stayed there just watching the movements.”
Gabriela described the alleged ambush that followed as a “Wild West” scene involving three attempted murders in broad daylight.
