Gunshots were fired at a sweet shop in Brampton, Canada, with a purported video of the incident going viral on social media on Thursday.The video allegedly shows a person sitting inside a car loading a gun before moving ahead and firing around 6-7 shots towards the shop.Soon after the incident, a post shared from an account under the name of Aarzoo Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the firing. The post alleged that the attack was carried out by Aarzoo Bishnoi, his younger brother Tyson Bishnoi and Shubham Lokar.The post claimed that the shop owner had allegedly been ignoring their phone calls for several days, following which the firing was carried out “to teach him a lesson”.The post also dismissed rumours of differences between the Bishnoi brothers, claiming that they were together and would continue to remain united.Police have not issued any public statement regarding the incident so far, suggesting that the shop owner may not have formally lodged a complaint with the authorities over the firing.When contacted regarding the incident, the shop owner reportedly said he was unaware of the firing.
