A gym linked to Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa came under attack in Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area early Thursday after unidentified assailants opened fire outside the premises, with a faction of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang later claiming responsibility for the incident through a social media post.According to police, two men on a motorcycle arrived outside the 24 Hs Fitness gym at around 4 am and fired multiple rounds before fleeing the spot. Investigators said at least seven shots were fired during the attack.The incident came to light around 5.15 am when gym staff reached the premises and informed the police. No injuries were reported.Soon after the firing, a social media message allegedly issued by the Anil Pandit faction of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang surfaced online, claiming responsibility for the attack. The message reportedly cited Guru Randhawa’s growing proximity to Bollywood actor Salman Khan as the reason behind the firing.Police said the authenticity of the post is being verified and all angles, including extortion, organised crime links and personal rivalry, are being investigated.Guru Randhawa is associated with the fitness centre as its owner and promoter. The firing has once again brought the spotlight on the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has previously issued threats to Salman Khan and individuals linked to him.Forensic teams examined the crime scene and collected evidence, while investigators are analysing CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the attackers and trace their escape route.A case has been registered and multiple police teams have been formed to apprehend the accused. Officials said further investigation is underway.
