After suffering the initial blow, the unlucky woman hangs on to the rope for a few moments before dropping into the water.

Kirsten initially believed she had suffered only a minor scratch in the incident and was even said to be trying to laugh through the pain.
But she later discovered that the injury worsened when she returned to the Carnival cruise liner.

Her boyfriend, Blake Ford, launched a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for medical expenses.
He wrote: “What was supposed to be Kirsten’s first cruise turned into the worst experience of our lives.
The swelling became severe, the pain became unbearable, and she eventually needed a wheelchair just to get back to our cabin.”
Blake said that he alerted 911 from the ship before Lindsey was rushed to the medical centre.

But even after hours, he said the swelling continued to worsen until it was “roughly the size of a baseball“.
He said that Kirsten then spent more than 26 hours in the vessel’s medical facility racking up thousands in expenses.
“Her pain became so severe that she could barely move, and at one point the medical staff told me they were trying to keep her awake because she would stop breathing whenever she drifted off from the pain medication,” he added.
The couple eventually disembarked the ship in Costa Maya, Mexico, before taking an ambulance to the airport through “severe” weather.
They were then flown to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a private medical jet, where Kirsten continued to undergo treatment.
Doctors removed a “baseball sized clot” during surgery, her mother Tara McKinney revealed in a social media post.
The couple then undertook the mammoth 18-hour drive back to their hometown of Bossier City, Louisiana.
Kirsten was once again rushed to the emergency room when they returned.
Blake wrote on Facebook: “They were completely shocked she was even discharged from the last hospital so early but now thank god we’re home and with OUR doctors and not the ones carnival sent us to!
“Everyone that’s seen the injury has never seen anything like it but they are doing everything they can to prevent permanent damage to her.”
The couple now face a mountainous medical bill, with the private flight alone setting them back $50,000 (£37,377).
They have managed to raise a $13,365 (£10,000) thus far.
Blake wrote: “The financial impact has been overwhelming.
“Between emergency transportation, medical expenses, travel, lodging, lost income, and the unexpected costs of getting ourselves and our vehicle back home, the expenses continue to grow.
“If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Kirsten in your thoughts and prayers means just as much to us.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and prayers during one of the hardest times we’ve ever faced.”
