Authorities said they now working tirelessly to bring the fire under control.
One witness claimed firefighters were struggling due to sheer size of the flames.
Writing on social media, they said: “Although fire trucks are already on the scene, the magnitude of the blaze exceeds the available equipment and greater support is required with higher-impact units to fully extinguish it.”

It is also unclear whether anyone was injured or if any people remain trapped inside the burning structure.
Shocking videos of the incident quickly spread across social media.
Footage appears to show flames engulfing a large thatched roof, while thick black smoke fills the sky above.
In one clip, frightened witnesses can be seen fleeing the area as the fire intensifies.
Separate footage shows dozens of holidaymakers standing waist-deep in the sea while the blaze rages in the background.
The dramatic scenes are accompanied by the sound of bachata music playing nearby.

This is not the first time a fire has broken out at a popular tourist hotspot.
In April, a massive fire tore through a resort popular with British holidaymakers in Bali.
The blaze broke out around 7am local time, igniting the second level of the main restaurant at Club Med Bali in Nusa Dua.
Guest Haley Priest described being awoken by the sound of fire alarms before they were evacuated to a nearby beach by staff.
“They cleared every room, even though the rooms were not in imminent danger,” she said.
Priest praised the “superhuman” efforts from staff to ensure all guests were safe.
