SPACE BEAR (4.47 Yarmouth, nap)
Looks out of this world. Michael Appleby’s three-year-old is consistent and followed a neck second at Redcar with a smooth Windsor success. He likes to be up with the pace and fought off all rivals on tacky ground. He has winning form over this trip and track and a 4lb rise looks fair with Tom Marquand taking over in the saddle.
THAMES WATERMAN (4.59 Wolverhampton, nb)
Can sail to victory. There was a lot to like about the way he won on debut here back in April. He bounced out of the stalls into the lead and didn’t see another rival in scoring by almost three lengths. The 158-day break is a slight concern but a repeat of his last effort would be good enough.
SUPPLICATE (3.53 Redcar, treble)
Brought up the four-timer nicely at Salisbury last time. She keeps things simple near the front and has more improving to do on just her sixth visit to the racecourse.
