Physical

McGregor may boast more visible muscle mass than Holloway following a series of dramatic body transformations during his hiatus.

But he’ll be at a disadvantage when it comes to height, with Holloway standing three inches taller than him at 5’11.

What he lacks in height, he makes up for with reach, with his arms extending 74 inches compared to Holloway’s 68.

Despite being nearly four years McGregor’s junior, Holloway has had MORE fights than the former two-weight champion.

He’s made the walk to the cage 36 times during his professional career, racking up 27 wins.

Twelve of those victories have come via KO or TKO, although only two of them have been submission finishes.

McGregor has fought 28 times in his MMA career and tasted victory on 22 occasions.

Nineteen of those victories have come via KO or TKO, with only one being via submission.

Activity

It goes without saying that Holloway has been the significantly more active fighter.

That’s due to the fact McGregor has been on the sidelines since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

Since McGregor suffered the potentially career-ending injury, Holloway has fought a whopping EIGHT TIMES.

He was, however, the more active fighter when McGregor wasn’t injured.

To put it into context, McGregor has fought six times over the last ten years, while Holloway has fought 16 TIMES during that same time period.
