How does the Eurovision voting work?
Eurovision’s voting has changed throughout the years since it was first held in 1956.
Nowadays, the voting is split between online votes and national juries.
A national jury of seven people decides the first half of the voting.
These results are announced first, and often have famous people from that country reading the results out.
Viewers can vote on online through esc.vote or the Eurovision Song Contest app.
Users are limited to 10 votes per payment method, which is new for 2026.
Previously, viewers could have up to 20 votes per payment method, but this was changed after controversy surrounding Israel’s 2025 Eurovision entry.
