WAYNE Rooney may well be heading Down Under for a stint in the I’m A Celebrity camp – but fans have pointed out an issue that could cause havoc.
The superstar footballer – who is in advanced talks to follow his 2024 runner-up wife Coleen into the jungle – could have to face a big obstacle.

The 40-year-old former Man United star is known for having an unusual habit in the bedroom and requiring a bizarre routine in order to fall asleep.
The pundit has admitted in the past that he can only sleep with a hairdryer blowing directly in his face for white noise and cool air.

Coleen previously explained he needs white noise to doze off, saying: “It’s a fan when I’m in the bed, but if not, it is a hairdryer.

“If I get up, if he is still in bed I hear him get a hairdryer.”
Speaking about the time it ‘caught on fire’, she said: “The hairdryer is on cool, but one time he was cold, so it turned it to hot – and it blew up.”
Wayne previously revealed: “When I sleep, I like to have the hairdryer on like blowing in my face.
“Sometimes that blanks the alarm and I sleep through.
“I had one that burnt out in the night when I was in DC, I woke up and it was melting into my leg.”
Insiders said Wayne is keen to entertain his sons by taking on the Bushtucker Trials and would be the hit show’s biggest-ever signing.

The TV pundit would be following in the footsteps of his wife Coleen, 40, who reached the final in 2024.
Coleen has gone from stay-at-home mother to in-demand star after a stint on I’m A Celebrity, as well as her famous legal battle with Jamie Vardy’s wife Rebekah.
The Jattvibe understands that Coleen is likely to join Wayne in Australia for support alongside their youngest three sons — Klay, 13, Kit, ten, and eight-year-old Cass.
Their eldest lad — 16-year-old Kai — signed a scholarship with Manchester United earlier this summer and may remain in the UK because of his training schedule.
As well as Wayne, other stars approached this year include Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page, 49, TV presenter and former Paralympian Ade Adepitan, 53, and Kaiser Chiefs’ frontman Ricky Wilson, 48.
Ex-Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, 35, and Love Islander Chloe Burrows, 30, are also in advanced talks.
Fans of the Manchester United record goalscorer will first get an insight into his life in his new Disney+ docuseries.
The Real Rooneys, which is available to stream from Thursday 24th September, will take fans inside Wayne and Coleen’s world.
