SPACE IT OUT
I’m a pro organiser, here’s the 3 fastest ways to make your home feel larger
Your power toothbrush
When did you last change your brush head? Dentists recommend changing it every three months, or sooner if the bristles are worn.
If your clean doesn’t feel as effective or you can’t remember your last replacement, it’s likely time for a swap.
To keep your brush heads hygienic between changes, rinse thoroughly after use and occasionally soak the head in antibacterial mouthwash for 20 minutes.
Rinse again, shake off excess moisture, and leave it to air dry.
Your electric grooming tool
Maintaining your grooming device isn’t just about cleanliness, it directly impacts performance of the product and skin comfort.
A poorly maintained shaver can lead to drag, a less precise cut, and increased irritation. For waterproof tools, remove attachments and rinse the blade, handle and attachments under lukewarm water (avoid soap to protect the anti-friction coating).
Air dry before reassembling. For best performance replace blades approximately every four months.
For non-waterproof tools, use the cleaning brush to remove any hair or debris, follow with a suitable cleaning spray and a few drops of lubricant for a smoother, less irritating shave.
Your hairbrush
Hairbrushes can quickly collect hair, oil and product build-up, which can transfer back onto freshly washed hair.
CLEAN SWEEP
OTHER self-care items you are forgetting to clean:
Toothbrush handles: wipe down regularly, especially around buttons where moisture can build up
Toothbrush holders: Wash weekly to prevent residue and bacteria from building up
Water flossers: empty after use and descale regularly to maintain performance
Shower loofahs and sponges: rinse thoroughly, air dry, and replace every 3-4 weeks
Make-up brushes: clean weekly to reduce bacteria and prevent skin irritation If you need any additional information, please do let us know.
Remove trapped hair regularly and wash your brush with warm water and a gentle shampoo.
Allow it to dry fully before reuse to keep both your brush and hair feeling fresh.
