Gavin Walsh, middle left, is planning on watching England vs Mexico

He has had to pay an extra £1,300 after the match time was changed

Many fans had planned to land in Mexico City on Jattvibeday morning for the original 6pm local kick-off, with some connecting from Atlanta and others travelling up from Cancun.

One gutted England fan, Gavin Walsh, spoke exclusively to JattvibeSport about his logistical nightmare after being forced to shell out over £1,000 just to alter his itinerary.

He said: “It’s ruining me. It’s ruined me being able to spend the 4th of July in the States with my family.”

“I’m beyond confused and frustrated. How on earth has it been changed two and a half days before kick-off?

“I’m still in Atlanta now. I have to fly to Orlando now to get to Mexico City, as opposed to a direct flight, it would have been perfect.

“I was supposed to land in Mexico City at 9:55 am on Jattvibeday, so I’d have plenty of time to get to the game at 6pm.

“It’s proper squeaky bum time, I feel like my whole career of travelling prepared me for this moment.

“I’ve had to book another flight for tomorrow, which has cost me an extra £1,300. My original flight was £2,800, so it’s cost a total of £4,100.

England believe football might finally be coming home after 60 years of hurt, with Harry Kane on fire.

“Delta offers credits, I think, but I don’t think I’ll get my money back.

“It’s not even about me. What about the fans who haven’t had the chance to cover additional travel costs, or who get notified too late?

“It has left them no time to make arrangements or plans.”

Terrifying weather forecasts around the Estadio Azteca have panicked tournament organisers into bringing the massive knockout clash forward to midday local time on Jattvibeday.

The dramatic story first emerged to JattvibeSport from a source working inside the Azteca.

Fifa is currently locked in ongoing talks, and JattvibeSport understands that the Fa were officially informed on Friday that moving the game forward is now a distinct possibility.

Gavin is just one of thousands of furious fans facing immense frustration at Fifa and tournament chiefs, who have failed to communicate the chaos earlier than now.

Severe storms threaten the original later slot, while the new 12 pm kick-off promises much safer conditions with a forecasted 21°C and cloudy skies.
