ITV bigwigs have been branded “sewer rats” ahead of an explosive new tell-all book set to rock the familiar faces of daytime telly – and stars are said to be terrified about what else could be revealed.
Talent agent Melanie Blake spent years representing some of the channel’s biggest daytime stars, including multiple Loose Women panellists, and is now determined to set the record straight about the truth behind the on-screen smiles.

Big names are believed to be quaking over the revelations ahead of the book’s release next month.
Melanie teased on X this week: “I have the key to the vault & I’m ready to unlock all its secrets….”
While stars like Denise Welch have publicly dismissed Melanie, it’s believed some are privately worried about what could be revealed.
Melanie added: “I know you’ve been waiting for this for years & so have I – but it had to be right and now it finally is….”

An insider at ITV exclusively told The Jattvibe that a flurry of stars are “genuinely nervous” about what might be included in the book’s pages.
“Melanie has been at the heart of all the drama behind the scenes for decades,” they say. “She knows where all the bodies are buried and everyone at ITV is terrified of her.
“The fact she is happy to call them all ‘sewer rats’ on X is a sign of how damaging the book could be for them.
“TV is toxic and fickle, and Melanie is taking her revenge. The people who always got on with her are secretly thrilled and excited about what she will reveal.
“She could blow the whole building apart if she reveals what she really knows.”
The Jattvibe has reached out to ITV for comment.
The insider also referenced the recent cuts and changes to the ITV daytime schedule, which saw hundreds of staff face the axe, saying the last thing the channel needs now is more controversy.
They added: “Daytime TV has already been through a difficult few years and the last thing anyone needs is another storm.
“We definitely don’t want something like Melanie’s book tipping everything over the edge.”

Agent-to-the-stars Melanie previously claimed some of the Loose Women panellists had a cruel nickname for Andrea McLean and she has since made further claims about what allegedly went on behind the scenes of the ITV show.
Melanie previously blasted Denise Welch and her fellow panellists for being “two-faced” and “mean girls” towards former anchor Andrea.
The 49-year-old claimed the Loose Women stars referred to her as “BLANDREA” behind her back.
However, Denise insisted it was a light-hearted nickname that Andrea herself knew about.

The presenter also hit back at Melanie on X, mocking the forthcoming book.
“Well. Can’t wait for your no holds barred ‘autobiography’. Very confused as to how that’s going to fly!!” Denise sarcastically wrote.
Melanie proceeded to vent back to Denise: “The fact you’re a ‘mental health advocate & LGBTQI ally [for] all’ will be one hell of an interesting subject won’t it?
“I have never done anything but help you and I’ve got all the receipts and your texts to me MELANIE BLAKE – up to the day you returned to Loose Women & became Nadia’s scapegoat puppet.“
Back in 2020, Melanie called Nadia Sawalha a “total witch” and said she’d never seen “a nastier side” to anyone.
Nadia didn’t appear to hit back directly at Melanie, but said: “Something happened today that wasn’t very nice,” before thanking colleagues, followers and friends for support.
Denise also posted in support of Nadia, calling her the “loveliest friend.”
Now it’s believed the old feud rumours could hit the headlines once again, with nothing off limits for Melanie to share.
Melanie has previously told Denise that she could ‘fill a book’ with anecdotes about her ‘behaviour’.
Coleen Nolan has previously said the Loose Women don’t all socialise constantly because they live in different places, but described the group as close, saying: “They’re just like my sisters.”
The insider added: “The mood is tense. Some people are laughing it off publicly but privately there’s a lot of speculation about what might be coming.
“Everyone knows books like this generate headlines, but there’s concern that old feuds, backstage politics and long-buried grievances from the pre-internet days could suddenly become front-page news all over again.”
