According to Sky Sports, the winger is already looking for his next challenge and has multiple offers.

The same source claims Dortmund are among the England international’s suitors.

And Sancho appears to have picked BVB over all the other interested parties.

The forward and the Bundesliga giants have already held talks and discussed concrete figures.

And Dortmund boss Niko Kovac has given the green light for Sancho to return to the Signal Iduna Park for a third stint.

Now the final word lies with sports director Ole Book and sports managing director Lars Ricken, who will decide whether to sign the soon-to-be free agent in the summer.

Sancho rose to prominence at Dortmund where he moved from Manchester City in 2017.

The player amassed a staggering total of 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 appearances during his first stint at BVB.

That led to a whopping £73million move to Man Utd in 2021 but he never managed to replicate the same success.

Sancho only managed a mere total of 12 goals and six assists in 83 appearances across the last five years.

The Camberwell native also fell out of favour in 2023 when he lashed out on social media against then manager Erik ten Hag, who left him out of the squad after claiming he didn’t train hard enough.

That led to some hapless loan stints to Chelsea and Villa where his Premier League struggles continued.

Sancho only managed five goals and 10 assists in 41 appearances with the Blues.

And the forward has only scored one goal in 33 appearances, in which he created three assists with the Villans so far this season.

But before moving to Stamford Bridge and Villa Park, Sancho spent the second half of the 2023-24 campaign back on loan at Dortmund.

The winger appeared to have rediscovered his former form with three goals and three assists in 21 appearances, which helped the team make it to the Champions League final.
