Sancho, who has been linked with a shock move to Brazilian side Palmeiras, is on Dortmund’s radar following Giannis Konstantelias’ injury blow.
The Greek summer signing is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn cruciate ligament during his debut last week.
Dortmund chief executive Carsten Cramer admitted Sancho’s return would go down well among fans.

“That’s just the way it is, that’s been the case throughout the entire summer break.

Sancho found the net 53 times and notched 67 assists in 158 appearances for Dortmund.
And the former Manchester City youngster’s stunning form during his first spell resulted in United pouncing.
