JAMIE Lee Curtis broke down in tears as she paid tribute to the late Rob Reiner at the 2026 Emmys.
Director Rob and his wife Michele died in December 2025 after being stabbed to death in their home.

Actress Jamie, 67, took to the stage during the ‘in memorium’ segment of the Emmys to honor her friends.
She said: “He was generous and kind, and funny as hell, and a friend to all, and we all miss Rob and Michele, and all those we lost this year.”

The couple were discovered dead by their daughter, Romy, in their sprawling $13.5million mansion in Brentwood, California.
Rob directed iconic films such as Spinal Tap and When Harry Met Sally.

Other lost stars including James Van Der Beek, Sam Neill, Eric Dane, Robert Duvall, Robert Carradine, Vincent Pastore and Tim Curry were also honored, while Catherine O’Hara’s on-screen children Macaulay Culkin, Dan Levy and Annie Murphy shared heartfelt words for her.
And Sally Field took to the stage to remember her friend and Steel Magnolias co-star Dolly Parton, just weeks after the icon’s death.
“If there are truly angels on earth, then we just lost one,” Sally, 79, said as she began her tribute.
She went on to recall how much she adored Dolly from the moment they met.
