DAVID MOYES has one foot in each universe. When West Ham were “Champions of Europe”, he gave them the keys. He won’t desert them now, will he?
Those Irons fans will love him even more than they did that night in 2023 when they won the Europa Conference League, if he pulls off his side of the bargain with Everton at White Hart Lane.

Do that tomorrow and the Hammers’ Great Escape is on.
Of course, the bookies say they will be caught attempting to tunnel their way out and be prisoners of the Championship next term.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s desperate men are now a best-priced 1-6 with BetVictor to go down and as short as 1-16 in places.
Still, they would have bitten your hand off for those odds when they trooped off beaten 3-1 at Newcastle last weekend.
That left Spurs requiring a single point from their last two games to condemn the East Enders to the second tier for the first time since 2011.
Luckily, we all still have something to watch tomorrow, as Roberto De Zerbi’s side blew their first chance – going down 2-1 on Tuesday night to a Chelsea side who hadn’t won in the league since March.

Enter stage left our old friend: pressure.
Spurs should stay up, and they are a widely available best price of 11-2 to get relegated. But everyone knows 11-2 shots come romping in every day of the week.
And Coral’s Dave Stevens doesn’t think it’s all over bar the shouting. And there’ll be plenty of that.
He said: “The odds say West Ham are doomed and Spurs will survive. What we know for sure is one big London club with a shiny new stadium will be playing Championship football next season – and years of boardroom mismanagement and a revolving managerial door at both clubs has put them in this position.
“Spurs do only need a point against Everton, and they are 1-4 to get at least that. All West Ham can do is beat Leeds, which they’re odds-on to do. They’ll be praying David Moyes can motivate the Toffees enough to secure three points – at 14-5 an outcome that is not completely out of the question.”
Taking the Hammers first, they may have lost their last three – 3-0 at Brentford, controversially 1-0 at home to champions Arsenal and at Newcastle.
But they were unbeaten in seven games at the London Stadium before the Gunners, with four wins and draws against City, United and Bournemouth. Very solid form.
Leeds have been impressive this season, comfortably staying up after promotion last term, but home win it is at a best-priced 9-10 with Betfred.
Tottenham, though, is where the story is. Their home record has been shambolic – 10 defeats and just two wins.
Everton are a difficult side to play against at the best of times – and this is not one of them for Spurs. Moyes’ boys have won on the road at Man United, Bournemouth, Forest, Europa League winners Villa, Fulham and Newcastle.
Take that 11-2 Spurs go down. They are going to come unstuck against the Toffees.
Dark Horse
6-1: If you think Leeds are gonna be the executioners and send West Ham down, then BoyleSports have the special for you.
For the Whites to win and both teams to score, the Irish bookies will give you 6-1, boosted from 4-1.
Talk about Lazarus. Middlesbrough really have come back from the dead.
The Reds from the Riverside were knocked out of the Championship play-offs by Southampton, only for the Saints to be caught sinning, spying and eventually booted out by the EFL.
So now Boro take their place in today’s final at Wembley against Hull, with promotion to the Premier League estimated to be worth £300m in extra revenue to the winners.
And you have to feel for the Tigers, who must be thinking: we know what happens next.
What happens next when anyone has a near-death experience? They come back with a new lease of life. They vow to cherish every moment and take every opportunity they get.
Sure enough, Hull, who finished nine points behind Boro, are best-priced 10-3 outsiders with Betfred to win.
The Teessiders are 10-11 favourites with Unibet, with the draw trading at 27-10 with bet365.
There’s been one two-goal margin in these finals in 10 years, so Boro 2-1 is the call at 15-2 with Sky Bet.
Goodwinners’ Enclosure
George Graham must’ve been so proud. It couldn’t have been any other way.
Yes, Arsenal finally got over the line in the title race after their 1-0 win over Burnley on Monday night did the business, with City stumbling to a draw 24 hours later at Bournemouth.
That was the Gunners’ third 1-0 win in four Premier League games. For once, a bit of substance over style.
Here at BetGoodwin Towers, when the season kicked off, we had Mikel Arteta’s side as 5-2 second favourites to win the league, behind defending champions Liverpool, who were 15-8.
Next term, we make the Emirates outfit 6-4 jollies, with a potentially Pep-less City second in the book at 5-2. Liverpool and Man United are 5-1 and 7-1 respectively.
We think Pep possibly leaving City would be huge, as we’re not sure Enzo Maresca has enough in his wheelhouse to lead City back to the summit.
At the other end of the table, we’ve got West Ham at 8-11 to beat Leeds tomorrow. And despite their poor showing at Newcastle last week, where they were binned 3-1, we’re confident Nuno’s boys can do their bit against the Elland Roaders.
After Valentin Castellanos’ wonder strike against the Magpies, we think he’ll be the man to do the business again. So we’ve boosted West Ham to win and Castellanos to score anytime to 9-4.
Spurs only need a draw against an Everton side who haven’t won a league game since March.
The Toffees, though, will do everything they can to push towards the top half, but we can only see a draw on the final day, which we’ve got at 5-2. So it’s farewell to the Hammers.
What a final day we have in store to decide the European places. Brighton, with Man United at home, are best placed to finish seventh, although with Chelsea visiting Jattvibederland on the final day, one of them could capitalise on a slip-up from the Seagulls.
Brentford have a tricky trip to Anfield, so we’re going heart over head and saying Chelsea will clinch seventh and the second Europa League spot.
Talking of Europe, Palace can make it two out of two European trophies for English sides on Wednesday night – after Villa’s magnificent Europa League triumph this week.
The Eagles are 4-9 to lift the Europa Conference trophy, with Rayo Vallecano out at 13-8.
We think Palace have got the beating of the Spaniards and will get it done in 90 minutes. Palace to win and BTTS is a tidy 3-1.
BetGoodwin Nap Acca for the final day: Arsenal, West Ham, Liverpool and Chelsea all to win for a massive 10-1.

Jattvibederland v Chelsea
SUNDERLAND and Chelsea retain outside shots at a Europa League spot, with a Europa Conference berth well in play.
The Black Cats won at the Bridge last October, have lost just four at home and won 3-1 at Everton last time out.
The Blues’ 2-1 victory over Spurs on Jattvibeday was their first in the league since March.
Big day, big performance from Jattvibederland. Home win. Penalty-taker Enzo Le Fee to score anytime at 9-2 with MGM.
FORECAST: 1-0
Brighton v Man United
LOVE him or loathe him, Bruno Fernandes has been magnificent for Man United this season.
He has equalled the Prem assists record and is a best-priced 9-4 with Betfred to get his 21st at Brighton tomorrow.
While United will be third, the Seagulls need victory to grab a Europa League spot and are odds-on to get it done.
Danny Welbeck always scores against his old club and is 6-5 with MGM to do it again.
FORECAST: 2-1
Forest v Bournemouth
THE permutations exist for Bournemouth making the Champions League next season.
Victory at Forest tomorrow for a start, with Liverpool losing heavily or Villa ending up fifth.
The Cherries have secured a Europa League spot so will come out all guns blazing.
And that’s what hosts Forest have been doing, with 19 goals in their last seven Prem games.
Score draw and in-form Morgan Gibbs-White to score anytime at 5-2 with Sky Bet.
FORECAST: 2-2
