Journalist Tarun Tejpal on Thursday moved the Supreme Court against his conviction in a 2013 sexual assault case.The Bombay High Court last week had convicted Tejpal of raping a junior colleague and sentenced him to 10-year rigorous imprisonment as it reversed a Goa trial court’s 2021 verdict.While convicting Tejpal under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the high court also imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on him.
