A JUDGE let off a Just Stop Oil protester despite 270 cops battling to halt the chaos he helped cause.

The 24-year-old told Southwark crown court he has now left JSO, and vowed to stay out of trouble.
Prosecutors said that in August 2023 the eco-group launched a series of rush-hour slow marches.
Holland took part on the A41 Hendon Way in North London.
Judge Adam Hiddleston said: “The walk was designed, it seems, to overwhelm the criminal justice system.

“Road users would have been distressed, frustrated and angered.
“Some 270 officers were required to deal with this disruption.”
Bicycle courier Holland, of Hackney, North London, told the court he had been scared after reading about the climate crisis.
He added: “I am no longer part of Just Stop Oil or any other campaign.”
He admitted interfering with key national infrastructure, and got a year community order, 160 hours’ unpaid work and £760 costs.
Last September he was cleared of public nuisance for climbing gantries on the M25 in November 2022.
