A 68-year-old woman in Karnataka, who spent years surviving by begging, has left locals stunned after more than 30 sacks filled with coins and currency notes were found inside her rented home following her death.The woman, identified as Hoor, died of an age-related illness at her rented house in Mandya, according to a PTI report. After her death, locals inspecting the house discovered sacks containing thousands of coins and notes, mostly in denominations of Rs 10 and Rs 20.A video from the house showed residents going through her belongings and counting the money. More than 30 sacks containing coins and currency notes were reportedly recovered. The counting process revealed that Hoor had accumulated around ₹8.4 lakh, NDTV reported.Hoor had lived in the house with her sister. Both women were unmarried and had stayed together until Hoor’s sister died around two years ago. Hoor continued living there and earned her livelihood by begging.Following her death, the money recovered from the house was handed over to her two brothers.At least 30 cash-filled sacks worth over ₹8 lakhs have been found at the house of a woman in Karnataka who spent all of her life begging.
