SOME of our biggest stars have been the subject of recent in-depth documentaries – and I understand Kate Moss could soon be added to the list.

A production company is currently doing the rounds of big streaming giants, offering up a profile on the supermodel to coincide with the 35th anniversary of her world-famous 1992 Calvin Klein ads.

Netflix is considering the project, and the production company hopes that Kate herself will get involved, which would add a new level of authenticity to it.

A TV insider said: “Although she is known for her ‘Never complain, never explain’ approach to life, there are signs that she might now be willing to discuss her life in a way she never has before.

“Getting Kate on board would make a huge difference to the streamers and probably spark a bidding war, if it came to fruition.

“Though it’s a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation where having Kate sign up might be dependent on someone like Netflix saying it is interested first.

“There is a will among producers, however. No, they’re desperate to find a way to make it happen.

“They are hoping that seeing the likes of David Beckham, Kylie, Victoria Beckham and Gordon Ramsay fronting big TV autobiographies will be persuasive.”

Kate has certainly been more “chatty” of late, making a rare appearance in Apple TV’s documentary, In Vogue: The 90s, where she talked about her modelling career.

In the 2024 show, which is now available on ITVX, she revealed how her waif-like look saw her slammed by parents of children with eating disorders — an admission that hit the headlines.

And this Friday sees the general release of the movie, Moss & Freud, where Kate and artist Lucian look at pivotal moments in her life including when she decided to rein in her partying.

Crucially, she is the executive producer of the project so will have had a say in the finished cut.

Maybe we will Kate opening up even more in the coming months . . .

ELEANOR TOMLINSON is no stranger to family drama, having appeared in Poldark and The Couple Next Door.

And her latest role in Channel 5’s The Fortune, sees her play a woman whose life is thrown into chaos when she receives an inheritance from a man she has never met – putting her at war with his kids.

But Eleanor reckons her real-life family may have some secrets of their own.

She said: “I think we are related to Scottish royalty.

“I’ve never done Who Do You Think You Are?, but I would love to find out exactly what’s what.”

Eleanor stars in The Fortune with Denis Lawson, Matthew Lewis and child actor James Younger, who she has taken under her wing.

She said: “I want to be supportive of any co-star, but especially someone so young. I was 12 when I did a film called The Illusionist and I’ve never forgotten the kindness of Jessica Biel.”

NATALIE CASSIDY is “honoured” to have joined the CBeebies Bedtime Story line-up with a touching book celebrating young carers, friendship and resilience.

The ex-EastEnders star, who played Sonia Jackson, reads Young Carers In Space by Ana Graça, available now on BBC iPlayer.

CANCER SHOCK FOR AMY

DELVING into their family history on Who Do You Think You Are? often takes stars on a rollercoaster of emotions.

That was particularly so for Strictly Come Dancing dancer Amy Dowden, who was shocked to discover on the BBC One show that her great- grandmother Louisa had died aged 39 from breast cancer.

It hit Amy hard as she had the same diagnosis in 2023 and underwent a double mastectomy.

She told Radio Times: “It took me back to being diagnosed with cancer myself.

“Thinking about Louisa leaving behind her husband Bill and six young children, I got quite emotional on camera.”

JILLY COOPER gave the team behind Disney+ hit Rivals a ticking off for making her characters cry.
