“He was so lovely to me and during our lunch break I told him I was going to LA for a couple of weeks to accompany a friend who had some meetings. I was 19-years-old.

“Tim kindly offered to introduce me to his then Manager Joan Hyler.

“I loved LA and luckily for me she took me on and represented me as an actress for many years alongside Andrew Ruff at Paradigm.

“This lead to me working on many movies and Warner Bros shows and various pilots.

“I did often think I owed my career in the USA to Tim Curry as it’s these sorts of introductions that change the course of your life.

“He was such a lovely, generous, kind man and so talented.”

She added: “I was always a huge Rocky Horror Fan. Joan also adored him. How lucky to have been able to spend time with such great actors and managers over the years.

“A class act if ever there was one RIP Tim Curry and thank you for making my dreams come true.”

A recording of the emergency call has revealed how medics responded just before Home Alone star Tim was found dead.

Dispatchers could be heard repeatedly confirming the beloved actor’s address and calling it an “ambulance death investigation”.

Los Angeles fire authorities also confirmed they responded to a medical call around 11.23pm to an address believed to be Curry’s on the night he died.

In the call, dispatchers can be heard saying: “Any North Hollywood unit, ambulance investigation.”

First responders found the star at his home and he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Tim’s cause of death has not yet been established – but he had previously battled serious health complications for more than a decade following a stroke that left him unable to walk in 2012.

It meant he was forced to take an extended break from acting after appearing in numerous films – including Clue and Muppet Treasure Island.

Curry was famed for his part as Dr Frank-N-Furter, the “sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania” in Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The performance transformed him into a cult icon and launched a career spanning film, television and theatre.

He later terrified audiences as Pennywise the Dancing Clown in the 1990 adaptation of Stephen King’s It.

Tim also appeared in Home Alone 2, Scary Movie and The Three Musketeers, among a string of other major roles.

He later returned to the big screen in 2024 with a role in horror film Stream, marking his first feature film role in 14 years.
