KELLY Osbourne has heartbreakingly revealed the grief of losing her dad drove her to relapse and turn to alcohol to numb the pain.
The star admitted she broke four years of sobriety as she spiralled following rock legend Ozzy’s death.

Speaking to Paul C Brunson on the We Need To Talk podcast, the 41-year-old revealed she struggled to function after the devastating loss.
She said: “I was a shell of myself. I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t do anything. I was just empty.

“Broken in every way a human being could possibly be broken and completely unable to even take care of myself. I was at ground zero.
“I started drinking again. I lost my mind. I couldn’t handle it.”

Mum-of-one Kelly, who has been open about her struggles with addiction since her teenage years, revealed she is now sober again.
She said: “I can honestly say today I’m eight months sober.
“I have the most incredible people around me. I closed my circle because I lost a lot of friends. People don’t like sadness and they expected me to be over it.
“I will never be over it. I will never, ever be over it.
“I never did drugs because I wanted to party. I never drank because I wanted to party. I just didn’t want to feel the pain.”
Kelly added that losing Ozzy had fundamentally changed her.
She said: “The girl that I was before my father passed is dead. That girl will never come back.
“I had to figure out everything from Ground Zero to now. I will never be the same again.
“I lost not just my father but my best friend, my main protector, my biggest cheerleader, my hero.”
Black Sabbath legend Ozzy died at home in July 2025 after suffering a heart attack and cardiac arrest. He was 76.
His death certificate also listed coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease as contributing causes.
